Books by Dostoevsky and Kamali recovered from crash of gangster's son

Aaban Ahmed, the youngest child of the murdered gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed, lost his life in a serious crash on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway. Police retrieved a range of personal effects from the wreckage, among them copies of Fyodor Dostoevsky's literature and a Marjan Kamali novel set against the 1953 Tehran coup. Officials emphasized that the books have no bearing on the investigation into the accident.

The forensic team, led by Circle Officer Moth Sunil Kumar Sharma, also collected items belonging to Aaban's friends. The medical examination indicated roughly two dozen injuries, with severe damage to the liver, lungs and spleen causing fatal internal bleeding. An associate named Sonu sustained a major head fracture and broken hands, and the bodies were later released to their families.
