Borussia Dortmund expands stadium beer lineup with Guinness alongside Brinkhoff's
Borussia Dortmund will keep Brinkhoff's as its official stadium beer and add Guinness to the beverage selection at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK starting in the 2026-27 season.
Borussia Dortmund confirmed that Brinkhoff's remains its signature stadium beer, a relationship that started in 2008 and will be celebrated through joint marketing and special releases such as "Brinkhoff's Ballgeflüster." The club also announced a new partnership with Guinness, marking the first time the Irish stout will be linked to a German professional side, with the brand joining the stadium lineup from the 2026-27 season.
Specialized Beerjet dispensing technology will be set up at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and ready by the third home game against Werder Bremen. Guinness and DAB will collaborate on international activations, offering fans promotions during Champions League away trips. Spokesperson Carsten Cramer said the three-brand portfolio blends local tradition, varied fan experience, and global reach for the club.
Why it matters
The deal broadens fan beverage options and strengthens Borussia Dortmund's commercial ties both locally and internationally.
