Boss and employee linked in fatal Chino Hills kidnapping and shooting

State business records reveal that the victim, Shukur Aikebaer, worked as secretary for Pansii, a limited-liability real-estate investment company headed by Zhengfeng Bo, who is listed as its chief executive. On a Wednesday night, Bo and his 66-year-old associate Jianquan Bo drove to Aikebaer’s upscale Chino Hills home, cut the power, and shot the victim as he investigated the outage, then placed him in the trunk of their vehicle.

After a brief pursuit, deputies intercepted the car, where Zhengfeng Bo opened the trunk, fired a shot, and was subsequently shot and killed by law enforcement; Jianquan Bo was taken into custody on murder and kidnapping charges. The suspects lived together at an Irvine property that also functions as Pansii’s headquarters, a five-bedroom home valued at roughly $3.3 million. Authorities have executed a search warrant at that address and continue to investigate the killing, which may have been intended to move the victim to a remote site or hand him over to others. The case has been forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for further action.
