Brazilian military delegation and Pakistan's defence chief pledge deeper cooperation
A senior Brazilian military team met Pakistan's chief of defence forces in Rawalpindi, agreeing to expand bilateral defence collaboration.
Brazil sent a high-level delegation, led by Admiral Renato Rodrigues De Aguiar Freire, chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to Pakistan's General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. There, they conferred with Field Marshal Asim Munir, chief of defence forces and army staff, discussing mutual security concerns and ways to boost defence cooperation. The two commanders expressed satisfaction with the historic cordiality between Brazil and Pakistan and committed to expanding joint military activities.
Munir reaffirmed Pakistan's dedication to deepening defence ties, while Freire praised the professionalism of the Pakistani armed forces.
