Brian Hickerson meets DEA as investigation into Hayden Panettiere's overdose continues
Brian Hickerson was seen speaking with DEA agents while authorities pursue a possible drug dealer linked to Hayden Panettiere’s fatal overdose.
Brian Hickerson was photographed outside his Los Angeles home on Thursday before traveling to meet with DEA agents, according to multiple sources. Law enforcement believes a drug dealer may have supplied the substances that caused Hayden Panettiere’s apparent overdose, and the agency is concentrating its inquiry on that individual. Hickerson and his brother Zach were at the Greenville, South Carolina Airbnb when the actress was discovered in cardiac arrest, and Zach has claimed that Brian administered Narcan after a real-estate agent found her unconscious.
Paramedics responded quickly, performing CPR and using Narcan, but Panettiere was pronounced dead on August 16. Police have stated there are no signs of foul play, and her toxicology results are still pending. Hickerson’s attorney emphasized the need to let the investigation proceed without further comment.
