New video released this week depicts Brian Hooker, 58, leading an apparently ordinary life in the Sacramento-area town of Citrus Heights, where he was seen wearing a hat and shorts, walking two small dogs, drinking coffee in a garage and picking through trash along a street. His wife, Lynette Hooker, went missing in the Bahamas in April after allegedly falling from a dinghy near Elbow Cay. The U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service is the primary agency investigating the disappearance.
Although Hooker was detained and questioned in the Bahamas, he was released and has not faced any criminal charges. Lynette’s mother, Darlene Hamlett, reiterated her demand for answers and justice. Hooker’s attorney, Matthew Borgula, was contacted for comment but no statement was provided.
