British rapper Yung Filly will undergo a retrial in Australia after a jury could not reach verdicts on several rape charges.
Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, known as British rapper Yung Filly, faces a new trial in Australia over three rape accusations stemming from a 2024 nightclub performance in Perth. Earlier, a jury acquitted him of three counts of non-consensual sexual penetration, one assault charge, and a separate strangulation allegation, while convicting him on two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. The court noted that he had consensual sex with a 20-year-old fan in his hotel room before the alleged violence began. He will return to court on 27 August to request a change to his bail conditions, and a date for the retrial has not been announced.
