Brooklyn cyclist killed after pickup truck slammed her bike and fled the scene

Paulina Tec Choc, 29, was stopped at the Jamaica Avenue intersection early Tuesday when a 2006 Ford F-250 collided with her e-bike from behind. The impact knocked her onto the pavement, where the truck continued over her body. Emergency crews transported her to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she later died. Police say the driver left the scene at Jamaica Avenue and Cypress Hills Street and remains at large. The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is handling the case.
