Budweiser rolls out beech-wood bat-aged beer for Iowa Field of Dreams game
Budweiser will serve a limited-edition brew aged with authentic MLB beechwood bats at Thursday’s Field of Dreams matchup in Dyersville, Iowa.
Ahead of Thursday’s 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game in Dyersville, Iowa, Budweiser is introducing a limited-edition brew called Budweiser Beechwood Reserve. Unlike its regular aging process that uses beechwood chips, this version will be conditioned with genuine beechwood baseball bats produced by Marucci, the Official Bat of MLB. The Twins will face the Phillies in the corn-field-surrounded contest, and the specialty beer will be sold exclusively at the venue.
Budweiser describes the drink as retaining the familiar taste of its flagship lager while offering a novelty factor for fans. The stunt aligns the brand with baseball heritage and the iconic Field of Dreams setting, creating a unique marketing moment.
