Building collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan leaves two rescued and many feared trapped

At about 1:30 PM, a building in Delhi’s Satya Niketan neighborhood collapsed, prompting an immediate response from the fire department and police. Five fire tenders and accompanying police teams rushed to the scene to commence rescue operations. So far, two people have been rescued, while a number of others are believed to be trapped beneath the debris.

Chief Minister Sharma arrived on Sunday afternoon, described the incident as tragic, and said the government is praying and has deployed a full team to prioritize the rescue of any students. Emergency personnel are working to determine the full extent of the damage and the total number of people affected. The situation remains fluid as authorities continue their search and recovery efforts.
