Data scientists are projected to grow about 35%, with computer and information research scientists also climbing as firms seek talent for AI initiatives. Educational requirements vary: solar installers typically need a high-school credential, while nurse practitioners and research scientists generally require a master’s degree. The forecast anticipates a total increase of 5.9 million jobs, or 3.5%, across the U.S. economy, with the private health and social assistance sector adding the most positions.
