Bus blaze on Yamuna Expressway near Noida airport kills several passengers

A moving passenger bus ignited on the Yamuna Expressway adjacent to Noida International Airport, leaving over 30 people on board in a deadly situation. Witnesses said the vehicle filled quickly with dense smoke, making visibility impossible and causing panic as passengers shoved each other to find an exit. One survivor recounted being awakened by a knock on the door and fleeing with only a phone, while another recalled being pulled out after being jostled in the crowd.

The exact death toll remains unclear, but several fatalities have been confirmed. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath took note of the tragedy, offering condolences, directing prompt medical treatment for the injured, and promising assistance to the victims' families.
