Businessman dies after climbing moving car bonnet during Raipur dispute
Parampreet Singh, a 34-year-old businessman, died after falling from the hood of a moving car during an argument with his girlfriend and her friend near AIIMS in Raipur.
In Raipur, 34-year-old businessman Parampreet Singh, a resident of Udaya Society in Tatibandh, got into a heated dispute with his long-time girlfriend and her friend Bharat Manganani near AIIMS. The couple had been discussing marriage for three to four years. When the woman attempted to leave with Bharat in his car, Singh struck the vehicle, then climbed onto its hood and urged her to get out.
Despite his presence, Bharat drove ahead for roughly 200 metres before Singh lost his balance and fell onto the road, suffering severe head trauma that proved fatal at the hospital. Bystanders alerted police, who transported the injured man. Authorities have registered a case of unnatural death, are examining nearby CCTV footage, recording witness accounts, and are attempting to locate Bharat for further legal action based on the post-mortem and other evidence.
