Cabin crew at SAS Link may begin strike next week over wage proposal
Members of the Fellesforbundet union representing SAS Link cabin staff have rejected the mediator's offer and could walk out on strike from next Wednesday.
The Fellesforbundet union, which covers cabin crew employed by SAS Link, voted against the proposal presented by the Riksmekleren. Union negotiator Dag-Einar Sivertsen said the offer does not provide a satisfactory basis for future pay and working conditions. As a result, the crew may commence industrial action starting the Wednesday of the following week. SAS Link operates regional routes within the SAS Group and sells tickets through the main airline's network.
Why it matters
A strike could disrupt regional air travel and affect passengers relying on SAS's domestic network.
