The Swiss Federal Railways (CFF) have deployed replacement buses on the affected segment and advise passengers to expect delays or cancellations. Travelers heading between the Lake Geneva region and German-speaking Switzerland, as well as between Neuchâtel and Bienne, are urged to use alternative routes via Bern, Fribourg or Payerne and to check online timetables. The disruption is expected to last at least until midday.
