Caitlin Clark sets new WNBA record in Fever's 106-92 triumph over Liberty

In a commanding win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Caitlin Clark became the fifth-fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,600 career points, achieving the mark in only 82 games. Her 28-foot three-pointer against two-time MVP Breanna Stewart pushed her total to 1,600 and secured a 22-point, 10-assist, four-rebound double-double. The milestone also made Clark the fastest to amass at least 1,600 points, 400 rebounds and 600 assists, surpassing Sabrina Ionescu's previous benchmark by 20 games.

The Indiana Fever posted a 106-92 victory over the New York Liberty, improving to 21-12 and overtaking the Atlanta Dream in the conference race. Kelsey Mitchell contributed 28 points, while the team continued a strong offensive stretch following a win over the Chicago Sky. The Fever will face the Dallas Wings next, with Clark poised to add to her record-setting season.
