Cam Newton alleges widespread COVID-vaccine fraud among NFL personnel

Former MVP Cam Newton claimed on his podcast that numerous NFL players, coaches and executives falsified their COVID-19 vaccination records.

Cam Newton, a former league MVP, used his "4th&1" program to back Aaron Rodgers' recent remarks about one outlet and to allege that a significant number of NFL players, coaches and front-office staff forged their COVID-19 vaccination documentation. He argued that the league’s expanded testing and distancing protocols served as a propaganda tool for drug companies rather than a genuine health measure. Newton further dismissed the notion that every NFL figure is vaccinated or shares the same political affiliation, noting that some support President Trump.

He claimed that any player who tries to discuss real issues is silenced by the league. The NFL and the New England Patriots declined to comment on his statements.

Why it matters

Newton's accusations could fuel controversy over the NFL's health policies and public trust in league governance.
