Pro Football Focus has identified Jaxon Smith-Njigba as one of three possible overall fantasy wide-receiver leaders for the 2026 NFL season, alongside Ja'Marr Chase and Puka Nacua. Seattle’s upcoming offensive system, headed by Brian Fleury, shares philosophical elements with Klint Kubiak’s approach and is expected to boost shifts, motion and deep-field speed, potentially easing defensive coverage on Smith-Njigba. The Seahawks also anticipate a larger passing emphasis early in the year, with rookie running back Jadarian Price slated to start and Rasheed Shaheed projected for a bigger role.

Smith-Njigba posted the eighth-most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history with 1,793 yards, while Nacua recorded 1,715 yards in 2026, just 78 yards fewer. Chase, who has led the league in targets for two straight seasons, remains a strong contender, especially with quarterback Joe Burrow returning. Fantasy managers may therefore consider Smith-Njigba a viable first-round wide-receiver pick.
