Cantor Fitzgerald releases anthology honoring families lost in 9/11

Cantor Fitzgerald has issued "The Families: 9/11 Anthology of Love, Loss and Lessons of Resilience," containing 176 submissions that range from personal essays to poems written by the firm’s community after the September 11 attacks. The tragedy claimed 658 of the firm’s New York workers, 50 contractors and visitors, plus 61 Euro Brokers staff, making Cantor the organization with the highest loss at the World Trade Center.

Edith Lutnick, co-founder, president and executive director of the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, and Caroline Aiken Koster, general counsel of the fund, led the effort to collect these narratives. The volume aims to keep the memories of those lost alive as the 25th anniversary approaches, and all proceeds will go to the relief fund that continues to support widows, parents and other survivors. The anthology highlights themes of grief, resilience, and community support that have defined the fund’s work since its inception.
