HBO executive Casey Bloys will assume control of all Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery streaming services following Cindy Holland’s exit.
Paramount-Skydance CEO David Ellison confirmed a leadership reshuffle as the $110 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery approaches finalisation. In a staff memo, Cindy Holland said Tuesday would be her last day, citing Ellison’s decision on streaming leadership without naming a successor.
The vacancy positions longtime HBO boss Casey Bloys to head the unified streaming operations for HBO, HBO Max and Paramount+, leveraging his 25-year tenure and experience steering multiple corporate transitions. Holland, who helped grow Paramount+ to record subscriber levels and expanded live-sports deals, praised the team’s achievements before departing. Analysts also speculate that JB Perrette, currently overseeing WBD’s streaming and gaming divisions, could partner with Bloys in the new structure.
