Casio Unveils Ultra-Limited MR-G 30th-Anniversary Platinum-Leaf Watch
Casio announced a limited run of 800 MR-G B2100HR watches, featuring a platinum-leaf dial and lattice design to mark the line’s 30-year anniversary.
Casio Computer Co., Ltd. revealed the MR-G B2100HR, a limited-edition timepiece created to celebrate three decades since the MR-G line debuted in 1996. Production is capped at 800 units globally, each showcasing a latticework dial finished with powdered platinum leaf applied by metal-leaf artist Hiroto Rakusho. The watch’s aesthetic is inspired by the notion of haruka, or eternity, and merges traditional leaf-craft with precision laser-processed structural-color effects that shift with viewing angle.
Its octagonal bezel, assembled from 27 polished components, and the bracelet are built from the ultra-hard alloys COBARION and DAT55G, delivering both resilience and a refined metallic look. The piece is part of the G-SHOCK brand’s flagship range, known for shock resistance, and highlights Casio’s blend of heritage and cutting-edge technology.
