Catherine Zeta-Jones headlines the new thriller "Kill Jackie," an eight-part series set to launch on Prime Video on Oct. 2 in the U.K., Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada. Produced by Fremantle together with Steel Springs Pictures, the show adapts Nick Harkaway’s novel "The Price You Pay," written under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen. Zeta-Jones portrays Jackie, a former international drug smuggler now dealing in art, whose past resurfaces when a lethal team called The Seven Demons is hired to kill her.
She must revive her old instincts to eliminate the assassins one by one, while confronting personal demons that prove even more dangerous. The series will later appear on AMC+ in the United States, though the exact release date remains unspecified. The ensemble cast features Aniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Bill Paterson, Ron Perlman, Óscar Jaenada, Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Karlis Arnolds Avots, Set Sjöstrand, Tadashi Ito, Sebastian Armesto, Julian Barratt, Gavin Spokes, Jonathan Cake and Bamshad Abedi-Amin.
