Cédric Jubillar's murder appeal to be heard in Toulouse court
The appeal of Cédric Jubillar, convicted of killing his wife Delphine, will take place in Toulouse before the Haute-Garonne assize court.
Cédric Jubillar, a 38-year-old painter-plasterer, received a thirty-year prison term for the murder of his wife, Delphine Aussaguel, a night-shift nurse and mother of two. Following more than five years of denial, he first wrote a letter and later confessed to the crime, stating he had concealed her remains in a field roughly ten kilometres from their residence in Cagnac-les-Mines, Tarn. Subsequent searches recovered skeletal remains that forensic analysis confirmed belonged to Delphine. The appeal of his conviction is scheduled to be heard in Toulouse before the Haute-Garonne assize court, spanning a condensed two-week hearing window.
