Celebrities Paul Rudd, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hillary Clinton to Host NYC Karaoke Fundraiser

Actors Paul Rudd and Lin-Manuel Miranda are joining former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to host a karaoke benefit in New York City. The event is designed to generate contributions for Latino Victory Project and Onward Together, two groups that work to register and turn out Democratic voters ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. ActBlue will run a sweepstakes that includes airfare, hotel stays and a chance to meet the hosts.

Latino Victory Project, launched by actress Eva Longoria, seeks to boost Latino representation and aligns with union, immigration, education and environmental priorities, maintaining ties to the Biden administration and the Service Employees International Union. Onward Together, co-founded by Clinton and Howard Dean after the 2016 election, provides strategy, training and fundraising to progressive candidates, though past reviews note many beneficiaries have existing Clinton connections. Both groups list billionaire philanthropist George Soros among their major donors.
