The appearance comes as she prepares for a five-week residency, her first major performance run after the 2023 cancellation of her Courage world tour because of stiff-person syndrome, a disorder that causes muscle stiffness and spasms.

Dion has spoken about her regimen of 90-minute Pilates sessions, bi-weekly ballet classes, physical and vocal therapy, and immunotherapy to stay performance-ready. Her last public performance was at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games closing ceremony, and a recent documentary highlighted the challenges of living with the condition.
