CG Oncology shifts headquarters from Irvine to Dallas biotech hub Pegasus Park
CG Oncology moved its corporate base from Irvine, California, to the Pegasus Park campus in Dallas, citing access to talent and a thriving life-sciences ecosystem.
Earlier this year, CG Oncology transferred its main offices from Irvine to Pegasus Park, a 26-acre campus in Dallas designed for life-science, research and entrepreneurial activity. Vice president of communications Sarah Connors explained that the Dallas location provides the firm with a central U.S. position, modern facilities, and easier access to talent, investors and strategic partners. Being close to institutions such as UT Southwestern Medical Center and the University of Texas at Dallas aligns with the company’s remote-first culture and long-term vision.
The relocation mirrors a wave of high-profile moves out of California, including firms like Oracle, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Charles Schwab and Chevron, driven by concerns over taxes, regulation and cost of living. Dallas has become a favored destination, attracting other relocations such as Public Storage to Frisco and Kelly-Moore Paints to the area.
