Child-porn suspect linked to Terrorgram seeks to block key evidence
A Pennsylvania man accused of producing child pornography and promoting Terrorgram is asking a federal judge to suppress evidence obtained from warrantless FBI searches.
Prosecutors allege that Aniruth Kuppusamy manufactured and possessed child sexual abuse material while also endorsing the extremist network Terrorgram. His defense argues that the FBI conducted illegal, warrantless searches during the investigation, and has filed a motion to exclude that evidence. The motion was submitted on Aug. 14, and a hearing is set for Oct. 1 before U.S. Judge Mary Kay Costello, who was appointed by President Biden.
