Child’s body recovered from Decoy Pond in search for missing three‑year‑old Noah Woods

Three‑year‑old Noah Woods vanished from Merriam Close playground in Brantham, Suffolk, after running down an alley toward a nearby estate. A multi‑agency search involving police, fire, coastguard, specialist divers and hundreds of volunteers combed the area, focusing on Decoy Pond and surrounding woodland. Divers later recovered a child's body from Decoy Pond; formal identification has not yet taken place and the incident is being treated as unexplained rather than suspicious. Superintendent Tom Pearse thanked volunteers for their assistance and urged respect for the family’s privacy as the investigation continues.
