Christian cook sues In-N-Out over Sunday schedule and alleged wrongful termination

Arianna Rodriguez worked as a cook at an In-N-Out restaurant in Long Beach for almost five years, during which she could attend church on Sundays without issue. When a new manager arrived in October, she says her Sunday availability became a frequent source of conflict and she received her first disciplinary warning. After escalating her concerns about scheduling and perceived unfairness, she was suspended in June over a food-waste incident and later dismissed on July 3.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, accuses the burger chain of religious discrimination, wrongful termination, and unequal treatment compared with other employees who received only warnings. Rodriguez is pursuing unspecified damages, unpaid wages and reinstatement. In-N-Out has not commented on the filing.
