Christian Horner receives sizable payout from Red Bull after dismissal

Former Red Bull Racing chief Christian Horner was paid a large sum by Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technologies following his termination.

Christian Horner, the former head of Red Bull Racing, was removed from his duties as CEO and director. In the aftermath, Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technologies together provided him with a significant compensation amount, framed as reimbursement for the loss of his job. Horner told reporters he never received a specific explanation for his ouster, other than a vague comment about a slight decline in the team's performance.

He highlighted that the team had started from pole and led the British Grand Prix before weather intervened. Horner added that the company suggested his future lay with Christian Horner Racing rather than Red Bull Racing. He continues to pursue a comeback in Formula 1, most recently indicating interest in a leadership position at Scuderia Ferrari.
