Citaglobal lands RM82.1 million design-build contract for new teacher-college campus
Citaglobal Bhd’s subsidiary Citaglobal Land has been awarded a fixed-price RM82.1 million subcontract to design and construct a residential college at the Institut Pendidikan Guru Bahasa Melayu in Kuala Lumpur.
Citaglobal Bhd announced that its subsidiary Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Purnama Base Sdn Bhd for a design-and-build subcontract worth RM82.12 million. The contract covers the construction of a new residential college for the Institut Pendidikan Guru Bahasa Melayu in Kuala Lumpur and is scheduled for completion within 22 months. The initiative is part of a broader government effort to expand education infrastructure, administered by the Public Works Department (JKR), which acts as the employer under the main contract dated 30 December 2025.
Citaglobal highlighted that the project reinforces its track record in public-sector projects and leverages its combined design, engineering and construction expertise. After securing the subcontract, the firm reported a pro-forma order book of RM1.5 billion as of 30 June 2026.
