Close to 300 Scandinavians enlisted in the Israeli Defence Forces
Around 300 individuals from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland are recorded as serving in Israel's military, the IDF.
Official IDF figures show that 35 Norwegians, 99 Danes, 150 Swedes and 62 Finns are currently enlisted. The data comes from a membership register that also lists thousands of dual-citizens. The numbers were highlighted by Swedish media citing the Israeli military's records.
