Co-creator of Disney Channel’s ‘The Suite Life’ Jim Geoghan Dies at 79

Jim Geoghan, a veteran television writer and producer, died at the age of 79, his daughter Genevieve confirmed. He co-created the Disney Channel hit The Suite Life of Zack & Cody in 2005 alongside Danny Kallis, a show that ran for three seasons and later spawned The Suite Life on Deck and a feature-length movie. Geoghan also collaborated with Pamela Eells on the franchise’s expansion.

His earlier credits include producing Family Matters, supervising roles on Boys Will Be Boys and Amen, and writing for series such as The Facts of Life and Silver Spoons. In addition to TV, he authored off-Broadway plays like Only Kidding. He leaves behind his wife and daughter.
