Coinbase-backed Stand With Crypto backs 32 incumbents in midterm race
Stand With Crypto, funded by Coinbase, has endorsed 32 sitting members of Congress for the upcoming November midterms.
Coinbase’s political arm, Stand With Crypto, disclosed Monday that it will back 32 incumbent congressional candidates in the November midterm elections, focusing on those who supported the stalled Clarity Act in the House. The organization, launched in 2023 to build a grassroots crypto voting bloc, claims a registry of more than 3 million U.S. advocates and emphasizes voter mobilization over large cash contributions. Endorsed House members include prominent Republicans Tom Emmer and Bill Huizenga, as well as Democrats Ritchie Torres and Josh Gottheimer, with competitive races highlighted in Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Executive director Mason Lynaugh said the 2026 effort demonstrates the group’s growing organizing capacity. While Senate endorsements are pending, the crypto sector has already poured close to $200 million into the midterms, much of it through the Fairshake super-PAC.
