COL Group and CP Group launch joint venture to boost Thailand's short-form drama sector
COL Group and CP Group have formed a partnership to develop Thailand's short-form drama market through talent training, localized content and a new distribution slot on TrueID’s Tatang app.
COL Group and CP Group announced a comprehensive partnership aimed at expanding Thailand’s short-form drama industry. Central to the deal is a joint talent incubation initiative with a Thai academic institution, designed to channel new creative talent into the sector. The collaboration will also feature a Thai Remake Collaboration, reworking selected titles from COL Group’s and FlareFlow’s libraries with Thai characters, settings and language, supported by AI-generated content tools.
On the distribution side, FlareFlow will launch a branded FlareFlow Mini corner inside the Tatang app operated by TrueID, slated for a September debut with fresh vertical-drama episodes added each week. Company leaders highlighted that the combined effort links education, production expertise, AI technology and market access to strengthen the ecosystem for Thai creators and original IP. The partnership leverages COL Group’s content library and production know-how alongside CP Group’s local creator network and market insight.
