Colombian defender Jhon Lucumí joins Juventus on €19.5 million deal
Jhon Lucumí has signed a four-year contract with Juventus for a fee of €19.5 million.
Juventus confirmed the acquisition of Colombian centre-back Jhon Lucumí on a four-year deal, paying Bologna €19.5 million upfront. The agreement contains clauses that may increase the amount to more than €22 million depending on his performances. Lucumí featured heavily for Colombia at the World Cup, appearing in almost every minute of their five matches. Prior to joining Juventus, he logged four years at Bologna, including a Champions League campaign, and began his European career with Belgian side Genk. Juventus will compete in the Europa League this season after finishing sixth in Serie A.
