Convicted child rapist assaults two women in Cambridge Planet Fitness locker room
Laquan Holland, a convicted child rapist, allegedly attacked a woman and then a staff member inside a Planet Fitness locker room in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office reported that Laquan Holland, 40, a convicted child rapist, arrived at the Porter Square Planet Fitness in Cambridge with a woman he claimed to be helping use the showers. Once inside, Holland allegedly assaulted the woman, striking her and trying to remove her clothing before she escaped into the locker room. He followed, continued the attack and prevented her from leaving.
A female employee who entered the area to assist was reportedly sexually assaulted by Holland as well. Responding officers discovered Holland attempting to put his clothes back on in the locker room. He was arraigned on two counts of assault to rape, two counts of indecent assault and battery, kidnapping and witness intimidation, and was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Oct. 16.
