Core Stack and Green Arrow to Invest Over €1 Billion in Italian Data Centres
Core Stack and Green Arrow Capital will spend more than €1 billion over four years to build 13 mid-size data centres across Italy.
The two firms plan to construct a network of 13 medium-scale data centres powered by on-site renewable energy. They aim to secure permits for the first two sites in Cremona and Verona by the end of 2027, with operations slated for early 2028. After completing projects in the north and northeast, the focus will shift to central and southern regions, using an entirely Italian supply chain.
Why it matters
The project will boost Italy's digital infrastructure, create jobs, and increase renewable-energy-based data capacity.
