Coronation Street dominates Inside Soap Awards with nine wins

The 2026 Inside Soap Awards, decided entirely by public ballot, saw Coronation Street claim nine honors, extending its streak as Best Soap for a third year. Vicky Myers won Best Actress for her performance as DS Lisa Connor-Swain, and Gareth Pierce received Best Actor for his depiction of Todd Grimshaw, whose storyline highlighted domestic abuse. James Cartwright was recognized as Best Villain for playing Theo Silverton, the abuser, while Myers and Alison King earned Best Partnership for their characters Carla and Lisa Connor-Swain.

Jude Riordan took Best Young Performer, and Daniel Brocklebank was awarded Best Exit after his character Billy Mayhew was left to burn in a crossover episode with Emmerdale. Emmerdale also collected five awards, including Best Comic Performance and Best Newcomer for Chris Coghill. The ceremony, held in Manchester, marked the 30th anniversary of the Inside Soap Awards.
