Couple charged with murder after remains discovered at Bethany home
A 52-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman have been indicted for killing a missing 46-year-old man, following the discovery of his remains on a Bethania property.
Police say the missing individual was last seen in Beenleigh in March 2022. A search warrant executed on Old Trafford Street in Bethania uncovered human remains, prompting murder and corpse-interference charges against the Bethania resident and a woman from Windaroo. Detectives continue to investigate the scene, and the accused are scheduled to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
