Couple in affectionate embrace fall onto Manhattan subway tracks, killed by train
Two 24-year-old New Jersey professionals were seen hugging on the Spring Street platform before one fell onto the tracks and both were struck by a No. 4 train.
Navam Kaul and Malaika Chitre, both 24, were captured on camera embracing on the Spring Street subway platform shortly before 3:15 a.m. Sunday. Kaul lost his balance and fell onto the tracks, hitting his head, and Chitre followed to assist. The pair were later seen sitting on the tracks before an oncoming No. 4 train hit them, resulting in their deaths.
