Couple sentenced for orchestrating sexual exploitation of teenage girl in Wales
A man and woman from Neath Port Talbot received prison terms after being found guilty of arranging the sexual abuse of a girl aged 13 to 17.
South Wales Police disclosed that Victoria Lewis, 40, facilitated contact between a teenage girl and her partner Shaun Lewis, also 40, fully aware of his intent to sexually exploit the child. Shaun Lewis issued numerous sexual requests, sometimes conveyed through Victoria, and arranged for indecent photographs to be taken. Both were tried in April; Shaun pleaded guilty and was given an extended 12-year sentence, including seven years behind bars and a five-year licence period, while Victoria was sentenced to four years in prison after being found guilty on three charges.
Detective constable Amanda Jenkins called the case “particularly depraved” and highlighted the victim’s bravery. Both offenders will face lifelong notification obligations, and police emphasized support resources for other survivors.
