Court network faces surge of over 240,000 hacking attempts this year
The court network logged roughly 240,000 hacking attempts from January to August, about 2.4 times the volume recorded for the same period last year.
Data submitted by the National Court Administration to Representative Kim Dong-ha show 239,145 hacking attempts on the court network between January and August, up from 101,205 in the comparable period a year earlier. March recorded the highest activity with 48,263 attempts, followed by May and June. Annual totals have risen each year since 2021, reaching 98,171 in 2024.
