Courtney Crutchfield scores 88-yard touchdown during Arkansas' seventh practice

Arkansas football resumed fall camp with its seventh practice, a 100-degree day that featured a full hour of media access. The opening 11-on-11 drill saw AJ one outlet use a hard count to draw an offsides penalty, then launch a pass down the right sideline that junior wide receiver Courtney Crutchfield caught and stiff-armed a defender before sprinting 88 yards for a touchdown. The first-team offense contributed modest gains, including a six-yard connection between Jackson and Chris Marshall and a short run by Braylen Russell, but Max Gilbert missed a 48-yard field-goal attempt.

Additional highlights included freshman Brandon Ford’s pass breakups and Steven Soles Jr.’s pass-rushing pressure. For the first time under head coach Ryan Silverfield, a 7-on-7 drill was shown, with Hill completing short touchdown passes and Jackson struggling with checkdowns. The practice also introduced a new five-man defensive front for short-yardage situations.
