Cyprus to host EU hydrogen consortium meeting in Ayia Napa
The Employers and Industrialists Federation will open the annual TRIERES hydrogen project meeting in Ayia Napa on September 22, 2026, with ministers and partners attending.
On September 22, 2026, the Employers and Industrialists Federation will host the kickoff of the annual consortium meeting for the European TRIERES hydrogen project at the Thalassa Museum in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. The event, scheduled for noon, will bring together delegates from the 25 partner organisations spanning five nations, encompassing private firms, academic and research institutes, public-law entities and local governments.
Energy, Commerce and Industry Minister Michael Damianos and Oev president Stavros Stavrou are expected to attend. TRIERES is an EU-co-funded programme under the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, focused on developing and promoting the hydrogen value chain. According to Oev, the gathering aims to foster collaboration among stakeholders to support the broader energy transition by advancing hydrogen technologies and infrastructure.
