Czech Army conducts multinational drone trials and counter-drone tactics at major exercise
The Czech Army is testing drones and anti-drone systems in the third Drone Shield 2026 exercise, with participants from over 70 firms in 17 countries and NATO observers.
At training sites near Vyškov and in the Přerov region, the Czech military is evaluating unmanned aerial platforms and defensive measures. Exercise director Michal Peterek said more than 70 companies from 17 nations are taking part, alongside observers from NATO members such as Slovakia, Latvia and the United States. The drill aims to map current market offerings and shape future procurement decisions for the armed forces.
