Research by Česká spořitelna and the data platform Evropa v datech reveals that buying a typical flat in Czechia requires 13.3 years of average gross salary. This ratio is roughly double the affordability level recorded in Ireland and Belgium. The index also notes an improvement in Czech housing conditions compared with a previous survey, yet the country remains only 17th among EU members on this metric.
