D-Mart posts 8.5% profit rise, revenue jumps 17.8% in Q2 FY27

Avenue Supermarts, the owner of D-Mart, reported an 8.5% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹742.98 crore and a 17.8% rise in revenue to ₹19,644 crore for the September quarter of FY27.

Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which runs the D-Mart discount chain, announced that its consolidated net profit for the September quarter of FY27 rose 8.5% to ₹742.98 crore compared with the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 17.8% to ₹19,644 crore, while total expenses grew 18.3% to ₹18,632.70 crore. Including other income, the company’s total income for the quarter was ₹19,657.54 crore, up 17.73% year-on-year.

For the first half of the fiscal year, total income reached ₹38,477.85 crore, a 16.47% rise. The retailer, promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, serves markets in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, the National Capital Region, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Rajasthan.
