Dana White hints at new UFC concept after costly White House spectacle

UFC chief Dana White said the White House Freedom 250 show was a huge success but financially unsustainable, and he may be planning a smaller follow-up.

In June, the UFC staged Freedom 250 on the White House South Lawn to mark the United States' 250th anniversary and Donald Trump's 80th birthday, an event that allegedly incurred a $30 million loss. UFC president and CEO Dana White called the show a massive triumph, citing enthusiastic feedback from billionaire backers like Paramount CEO David Ellison. Despite the praise, White emphasized the financial impossibility of recreating a similar spectacle, ruling out another White House or Sphere venue.

On a recent video call with The Pat McAfee Show, he revealed that head of production Craig Borsari has proposed a new concept that may be smaller in scale. White indicated he will reveal any new plans publicly first, leaving fans to await details on the upcoming project.
