While vacationing in Hawaii, he received a call from Salzburg’s sporting director Marcus Mann and weighed the opportunity against his loyalty to Rangers, maintaining open communication with both clubs. Rohl, who began his coaching career at RB Leipzig under Ralph Hassenhuttl, aims to win trophies and nurture young players, citing the club’s history of producing stars like Karim Adeyemi and Erling Haaland.
